Mar 15,  · what is the theory behind funk music? as a bass player i am into funk, i like some of the of the intricate basslines that are played in the world of funk. That being said i would like to learn some of the music theory behind funk so i can create basslines with that funk "feel".

Sep 21,  · The Lo-Fidelity All Stars contribution to the Abstract Funk Theory series is a great mix of true old school soul sounds, funky house beats and remixed British rhythms. Edition seven of the highly respected Abstract Funk Theory compilations, it doesn't actually carry any tunes by Faze Action, but is typical of the U.K. outfit's original approach to music. Most of the titles are rather obscure, but give them a chance and they will surely stir 6/

Go immediately to track #13 on this disc - The Emotion's "Blind Alley" is the finest cut, and a reminder of why the Hutchinson sisters were the best "girl band" of their day.4/4(3).

abstract funk theory On the Pier [Ropeman Mix] - Lo Fidelity Allstars Kao-Tic Harmony - Rhythim Is Rhythim. Yet another fine choice of tracks from the excellent ABSTRACT THEORY compilation stable. The Carl Craig choice of tracks was also excellent but Lo-fidelity allstars equal this.I would certainly recommend this cd for late night /5(3).
